We are a small family based company that prides in providing pure cows milk that is 100% vegetarian and has no added preservatives.

Our aims and objectives?

Our main goal is to provide pure cows milk without any additives or preservatives for consumption and for use in spiritual prayers, especially for ‘puja’ and ‘abhishekam’. We searched the globe for over 5 years for reputable suppliers to provide pure cows milk. What we have since found is that most milk products have added preservatives that are deemed to be vegetarian but apparently it is not. With a lot of perseverance, we established Velan which is 100% pure cows milk with no preservatives or additives. The inspiration of the name 'Velan' Lord Vel Murugan, a spiritual Deity. As Velan is certified vegetarian and given its purity, it is the best milk to be offered for spiritual prayers.

The origins of Velan

Velan is manufactured in the United Kingdom by Delamere Dairy. Remarkably, it is the only milk product in Malaysia that is certified vegetarian and approved by the UK Vegetarian Society. This Vegetarian Society is the only legally registered trademark for vegetarian accreditation. Given this accreditation, consumers can be reassured that they are consuming a 100% pure vegetarian product.
